Dr Anh Hoang

Podiatrist

Anh is a highly skilled podiatrist with over 10 years of clinical experience. He completed his Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2014 and has continued to develop his clinical expertise through extensive professional development in advanced dry needling, foot biomechanics, shockwave therapy and laser therapy.

In 2023, Anh commenced his Doctor of Podiatric Surgery (DPS) at UWA, undertaking advanced training in the medical and surgical management of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. His surgical training has further developed his knowledge and skills in assessing complex foot and ankle pathology and providing evidence-based treatment.

Alongside his clinical and surgical training, Anh has worked as a clinical supervisor for UWA podiatry students, supporting the development of the next generation of podiatrists through clinical teaching and mentorship. He was also responsible for the UWA Nail Surgery Clinic until June 2024. Anh was awarded the UWA Medical Developments International Prize in Advanced Podiatric Medicine in recognition of his academic and clinical achievements.

Anh enjoys all aspects of general podiatry and takes a particular interest in the management of ingrown toenails, musculoskeletal conditions, foot biomechanics and diabetic foot care. He uses a range of treatment approaches, including dry needling and orthotic therapy, to develop individualised management plans that address each patient’s specific needs.

Anh is passionate about helping people maintain healthy and functional feet through high-quality, patient-centred care. He believes that education and early intervention play an important role in preventing foot problems and is committed to increasing awareness of foot health and helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
